Amber Meadows Montessori in Overland Park, Kansas, offers a nurturing home-based learning environment for children ages 2-5 Years. Founded by Najnin Khanam, with over 24 years of experience in teaching, their highly trained preschool teachers utilize the Montessori method to foster child-centered learning, independence, and a love of learning. The school maintains a small child-to-teacher ratio and provides a fun, creative atmosphere. Their year-round Montessori curriculum includes practical life skills, sensorial experiences, mathematics, language, and cultural studies. Extended hours are available.

The Montessori Method
The Montessori Method was founded by Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian physician and educator, in 1907. She opened the first Casa dei Bambini (Children’s House) in Rome, where she introduced her child-centered approach based on hands-on learning, independence, and self-paced development.
Her method quickly gained global recognition for fostering curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking. Today, Montessori education is practiced worldwide, continuing to empower children with a lifelong love for learning.
